Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, Rome

Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel displays an extensive private art collection with antique furniture, paintings, tapestries, and statues exhibited throughout its suites and public spaces. The hotel sits on a hilltop position in Montemario, offering views of Rome and the Vatican from its large Mediterranean gardens. Guests can admire pieces that include works by Tiepolo, easily outshining many museums.

The hotel has 2 restaurants and 4 bars, including the 3-Michelin star rooftop restaurant La Pergola serving gourmet cuisine. Uliveto Restaurant offers a poolside terrace with classic Italian and international dishes. Dining options also include a bar with lounge areas and breakfast served in a multi-room buffet with fresh juices and pastries.

The Grand Spa Club features Turkish baths, saunas, an indoor swimming pool with a fireplace, and wellness treatments such as massages and body scrubs. Three outdoor pools are available, including a dedicated children's pool, with sun loungers and pool bar service. The well-equipped fitness center has Technogym equipment and the hotel also offers two red-clay tennis courts and an 800-metres fitness trail.

All rooms include a marble bathroom, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a balcony overlooking either the gardens or Rome's historical centre. Some rooms offer access to the Imperial Club Lounge on the 7th floor, open daily from 07:00 to 20:00. The hotel started a bedroom restyling project in January 2026, enhancing the accommodations while maintaining full service.

The hotel is 3 km from the Vatican and a 25-minute drive from the Coliseum, with a free hourly shuttle to and from Via Veneto. Taxi service is always available at the front entrance, and the hotel offers valet parking and electric vehicle charging stations. The hilltop location provides quiet surroundings and panoramic views of the Roman skyline.
